Fact: fastest lap at the 2011 6 Hour of Power was on the prototype Bontrager 29.1 Team Tire.
This tire is dialed for the fast dry trails and does very well in the roots & rocks. Set up tubeless I ran this tire on the rear for all 4 of my laps at the 6HOP this year. It was fantastic and cornered well on the descents. I'll be very pleased to get my hands on a complete set. Let me not forget to say that the Traction on the climbs was fabulous.
