So Friday was bike to work day but since my particular job did not offer me the opportunity I took my bike to work on Saturday which turned out to be a good move.
Each year a customer has a Utility Shutdown that involves electrical & mechanical energies all being turned off so we can perform repairs. This means I end up with 10 to 12 electricians crawling around substation transformers and over high voltage lines & poles. I usually run (walk) back and forth throughout the facility making sure all permits are issued and that the work is being done. I also do all of the high voltage switching (turning off all breakers & applying ground wires to the electric lines for safety. So that's where the transport came in handy. I attached the burly nomad and pulled my arc flash equipment, paperwork and tools
around for the day. It made a long day just a little easier since I wasn't walking everywhere.
Transport + ....a true utility bike used in a utility shutdown.
Sorry due to security reason I wasn't able to take photos inside the plant so this is the only shot I got just outside at tue main substation.
Stork

Bikers bike when gets engaged in work, it seems something different to handle. Sounds like some carrier.
